Special exhibition - In Motion – Art & Football
The large-scale special exhibition In Motion – Art & Football opens on May 27th at The German Football Museum. This immersive room installation covers 1,000 square metres presenting a brilliant cross section of football-related modern art from the 20th century. Over 100 works of art from Germany and beyond are on display, including works seldom seen before by René Magritte, Paul Klee, Maria Lassnig, Willi Baumeister, Felix Nussbaum, Laurence Stephen Lowry, Robert Delaunay, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Umberto Boccioni, Banksy, Nicolas de Staël and Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
