In 2020 Jill was selected from over 1000 entrants to take part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. In less than four hours artists create a portrait of a surprise sitter filmed at Battersea Arts Centre in London. (It is less than four hours because during that time the artists are taken from the space to be interviewed and filmed.) Jill's sitter was television presenter and former general manager of Michelin starred restaurants, Fred Sirieix. The short timeframe does not suit Jill's way of working, but it was an interesting experience which she was glad that she took part in.
